Juniper oil is found in many detox blends and is reported to be effective for promoting excretion of uric acid crystals and excess toxins from the body. Can be used to promote healthy nerve and kidney function.
A recent study showed Juniperberry to be an extremely effective antifungal oil, especially against yeast like fungi (especially Candida Fungus which can cause thrush in humans). It can also be used on animals as a preventative for ticks and fleas. For use in cases of cellulite dilute well in a Carrier Oil for massage or Plain Bath Oil or a just a tablespoon of milk for the bath. Juniperberry essential oil also has a wonderfully calming effect on the emotions and is said to restore psychic purity. You could also try using it in a vapouriser as an anti-bacterial solution.

Known since antiquity as an antiseptic protection against infection and as a diuretic.
