Immortelle Absolute is a useful oil in both aromatherapy and perfume making. When diluted in a carrier oil its lovely to use in massage; helping soothe painful areas and stiff joints.

When burned or vaporised and it may also have a lovely relaxing and de-stressing effect.

When blended in a cream or lotion it may be beneifical to the more mature skin types. In perfumery Immortelle is used as a fixative and brings a rich, floral tea-like scent to the blend. Please note that Immortelle is a thick, resinous liquid which requires gentle warming before it can be poured.

To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle. For electrical fragrancers, follow instructions given by the manual. For massage: dilute in a carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. Add a few drops to a handkerchief or inhale directly from the bottle if you are on the go. Dilute in distilled water and pour into spray bottle for an all-natural room fragrancer.
You may find this oil belnds well with Lavender, Lime, Neroli, Orange, Geranium, Petit Grain, Sage and Ylang-Ylang essential Oils.
Native to France, Italy and a few neighbouring countries.
Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a carrier oil and use in massage to ease strains and reduce stress levels. Add a few drops to a burner or vaporiser to enjoy its relaxing and balancing properties. Add 2-3 drops to a warm bath to help ease the joints and relax the mind.

Used in Europe to treat asthma, chronic bronchitis and whooping cough. Also headaches, migraine and skin conditions.

Dilute in a carrier oil before skin application. Keep away from children and out of eyes. Do not take internally or apply undiluted to the skin. For further advice on using essential oils to treat medical conditions, we recommend you seek advice from a professional.
