 Now this can get confusing so please take care in scanning through our Ylang Ylang range. Here we have Ylang Ylang Complete Organic, this is the what is produced from the whole distillate encompassing all the fractions released during the entire distillation process.

This essential oil offers maximum aroma potency (approx. 6-18 hours distillation). Its aroma is the most intense sweet and floral with slight herbaceous undertones. This oil is a real mood swinger, its aroma delivers calm and tranquility hence its popularity in aromatherapy & massage. At the same time, it can reduce oily skin and moisturise the hair follicles reducing dandruff.

To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle. For electrical fragrancers, follow instructions given by the manual. For massage: dilute in a carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. Add a few drops to a handkerchief or inhale directly from the bottle if you are on the go. Dilute in distilled water and pour into spray bottle for an all-natural room fragrancer.
You may find that Ylang Ylang blends especially well with Bergamot, Grapefruit, Lavender and Sandalwood.
Originates from Madagascar.
Add a few drops to a warm bath to help set the mood or relax after a stressful day. Enjoy a few drops added to a vaporiser to help calm the mind and ease away anxious thoughts. Add a few drops to your shampoo to help promote volume, shine and manageability of the hair. Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a base lotion or cream and use to help balance oily skin. Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a carrier oil for a relaxing and restoring massage.

Historically, it has been used for its intrinsic aphrodisiac properties. The flowers are spread on the beds of newly weds in Indonesia.

Smells great although can be quite 'sweet' smelling so best blended with geranium or bergamot or any citrus oils.
