The beautifully citrus-floral scent of Neroli is loved by many; its a great oil to use in both masculine and feminine blends if you're thinking of using it in perfumery or bespoke soaps.

Its uplifting scent makes it a great oil to use if you're in need of an emotional lift; it may help offer strength and its also a lovely oil to use to set eh mood for a romantic evening.

Perhaps most notably is its use in skincare; renowned for its moisturising properties, Neroli is a wonderful addition to skincare products for those with dry or mature skin.

To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle. For electrical fragrancers, follow instructions given by the manual. For massage: dilute in a carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. Add a few drops to a handkerchief or inhale directly from the bottle if you are on the go. Dilute in distilled water and pour into spray bottle for an all-natural room fragrancer.
You may find that Neroli blends especially well with chamomile, geranium, coriander, clary sage, jasmine, lavender, rose, ylang ylang, coriander and the citrus oils.
Native to China and Central Asia, now grown, cultivated and distilled in North Africa, China and most Mediterranean countries.
Add to a base cream or lotion and use in your skincare regime to help lock in moisture and balance the skin. Add a few drops to a burner or vaporiser to create a warm & welcoming ambience in the home. Add to a carrier oil and use in massage to help calm the mind and lift spirits.

Named for the putative discoverer Anna Mariade la Treinoille, princess of Nerole in Italy (1670). Pale yellow oil from the flowers of the bitter orange tree were used in bridal bouquets to calm nervousness before the couple retired to the marriage bed.
