Lime essential oil is a fresh, fruity and vibrant oil which can help to lift the mood and reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.

It may be helpful in balancing oily skin and with similar properties to that of lemon, it is also a lovely oil to incorporate into your household cleaning regime. Used in massage it may be helpful in lift the mood and refreshing tired muscles. 

An all round 'feel good' oil that is loved by many!

To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle. For electrical fragrancers, follow instructions given by the manual. For massage: dilute in a carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. Add a few drops to a handkerchief or inhale directly from the bottle if you are on the go. Dilute in distilled water and pour into spray bottle for an all-natural room fragrancer.
You may find that Lime blends especially well with neroli, lavender, clary sage and ylang-ylang as well as the other citrus oils.
Thought to be native to south Asia but now found in many tropical and subtropical regions around the globe. Mainly cultivated in Mexico, Florida, the West Indies and Italy.
Add 2-3 drops to a traditional burner or electronic diffusers to freshen the air, get rid of bad odours and create a lovely ambience in the home. Add Add 2-3 drops to 20ml of shower gel base and enjoy the fresh and fruity aromas in your morning shower. A 4-5 drops to a clean dish cloth and place on the base of the shower and allow the fresh aromas to rise up as you shower - start the day with a fruity kick! Add 15-20 drops to a 100ml atomiser bottle and use as a surface freshener

Often interchangeable with lemon for treating similar complaints like fever, infections, sore throats and colds.

Dilute in a carrier oil before skin application. Keep away from children and out of eyes. Do not take internally or apply undiluted to the skin. For further advice on using essential oils to treat medical conditions, we recommend you seek advice from a professional.

Packing Group II, if they have an initial boiling point greater than 35°C at an absolute pressure of 101.3 kPa and a flash point less than 23°C, such as gasoline (petrol) and acetone; or
Packing Group III, if the criteria for inclusion in Packing Group I or II are not met, such as kerosene and diesel.

This oil really does smell like lime and gives off a powerful smell which is refreshing and zesty!
